These five pieces were composed while I worked at the Universidad Austral de Chile in Puerto Montt, for my colleague cellist Aracely Rojas and I to play at university functions and chamber music concerts in the countryside. The music is accessible, light and thoughtful, oscilating between the playful and melancholy, universal and local. Delightful to play, and an audience favorite. Enjoy!
